Puberty in Full Swing

This is the kind of thing one comes home to when one's beloved feline nemesis friend hits puberty.
Wait...can a cat go through puberty without his hormone-producing elements?!
Regardless...I'm still finding pine cones and decorative balls in all kinds of nooks and crannies throughout the house.

Awkward apple pickin'

We have got to get better at this whole picture taking deal before our engagement session.
Bless it.

The Future Mrs. Ryan Thomason

More narrative on the actual proposal to come, but here are some pictures to entertain your eyes in the meantime.

The set up.

Ephesians 5:21

The bling.

Pictures just don't do it justice. My man did a dang good job on this one.

Amos got into the water basin...post-foot-washing. I've been told I have pleasant toe jam.

My hubbie-to-be!

For those of you who know the story...this is the party bus. S-K-E-T-C-H.

Life post board exam

On my list of things to do after the boards:
Get a kitten.

Meet Amos, the chillest kitty EVER (named after Amos Lee, the chillest musician ever).

If Amos had a genetic syndrome, he would have Waardenburg syndrome. Yes, he has one blue eye and one green eye.

Amos' chill personality makes it difficult to capture him when he's not conked out.

What I haven't told you yet is that I'm a terrible mother and suddenly switched his brand of food when I brought him home. That led to Amos vomiting nonstop for over an hour starting at 3:45am. Which ended up in a visit to the kitty ER after blood started coming up with it. I just cried and cried (what's new) as he puked, feeling completely helpless and totally guilty. I can't imagine how it will be having a sick kid.

Hope for the Black Thumb

And his name is Ryan Myles.

I'm so thankful my man got skills diggin' in the dirt.

Cause now I have a happy patio.
(FYI-In Guatemala, where Ryan lived for 4 months, your home is considered "sad" if it is not filled with plants. We are in the process of making my home a happy home.)

LOVE this bucket. Thanks, Lowe's.

Confessions from this week

This is what life looks like after 7 straight months of studying for boards.

This is what you eat for dinner every night for 4 straight days after being told that you can't work for the next 3 months.

Sprinkled sustenance courtesy of Nice! brand from Walgreens.

And you think I'm kidding...
