Black thumb

This is called death.

This is called redemption.

And this is called beauty grown by someone else and graciously given to Madison Blaine who can only grow fingernails and nothing else. (Thank you, dear sweet Tom.)

Freedom Run

This is what freedom looks like at 8am on the morning of your first race ever.

This is what freedom looks like after you've run walked up a half-mile hill of death and then topped it off with another 2.5 miles over a mountain.

Happy New Year!

Apparently, we roomies find it uncomfortable to touch each other.
Most. awkward. pictures. ever.
Which is worst...A or B?

Awkward Pose A
Awkward Pose B

This should have won best store-bought mask.

And Tenika should have taken the cake for best HOMEMADE mask.

No words.

Garage turned dance flo!

A Crafty Christmas

My blog's new aspiration is to be one of those cute craft blogs.  Maybe in my next life...

(Pattern borrowed from one of those cute craft blogs)

Crocheting = my new favorite hobby

Guess what all my co-workers got for Christmas??

Homemade candy boxes filled with homemade treats!

The crochet circle.

The craft circle.

And Janet.

I have finally been introduced to Mod Podge.  How have we never met before?!

Homemade door hanger. Bow courtesy of Frances.

Homemade stockings courtesy of Grandma Lib.

The million dollar debate this year: real tree or fake tree? (I've never had a real tree in my entire deprived life.)

But the fake tree requires no maintenance or constant clean-up.
But the real tree smells so nice.

The solution: fake tree with Evergreen candle.

The men of the house.

The humble beginnings of my Fontanini nativity. Can you pick out the camel who required hot glue stilts after I took this picture?
